CROSSPOINT
CHURCH
CrossPoint Church is on the move to redeem people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our core values define why we do what we do. These are what matter most as we help people find new life with Jesus Christ at the center.
POTTER'S
HOUSE
CrossPoint Church works in association with Potter's House, a Christ-centered organization founded by two Guatemalans who were inspired to take action through their experiences working with the extreme poverty found in Guatemala City’s trash dump.
Unlike organizations that simply address economic or physical poverty, Potter’s House seeks to deliver five holistic development programs through our community centers: Family Development, Education, Health and Nutrition, Micro-Enterprise and Community Development.
TEAM & SUPPORT
Once a year, CrossPoint sends between 7-10 people to join up with Potter's House in Guatemala and assist them in a variety of different projects. There are a few different ways you can support this team.
Ephesians 6:18 ESV
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
PRAYER
While often said as "the least we can do", prayer is regularly undervalued as an incredible opportunity to support someone as they enter into unfamiliar territory, or an organization as they continue the work of the Lord. Continuous prayer, especially mixed with personal and direct encouragement, can be very powerful.
FUNDING
Every member of this team is expected to fund their own way on this trip, but donations are a great way to support them on their journey. If you are called to support them, you can use CrossPoint's own Church Center app to give to the group as they work as a team to raise the necessary funds.
By making a donation, you acknowledge that the primary purpose of your gift is to support the church's overall mission. While funds will be allocated to Adult Missions when possible, the allocation of funds remain the discretion of CrossPoint Church.
