OUR TEAM
CrossPoint is led by a team of elders who care for God’s family, the church. Our deacons lead by example through acts of mercy and service. Our pastors and directors serve alongside these leaders to help strengthen and establish the church.
Most importantly, each one of our people is valuable to the movement of redemption through the church as they display the love of Christ with their own unique gifts, personalities, and enthusiasm.
PASTORS
Andrew Goff
Pastor of Worship & Mobilization
Andrew & Kristen were married in 2011 and joined CP in July 2022. They have three joyfully chaotic and wonderful kids—Hadassah, Gideon, and Ruth. They love to play in the backyard, go hiking, to the zoo, and playgrounds. Andrew's passion is to engage with, encourage, shepherd, and point people towards Jesus, helping them be all that Christ designed them to be. He also loves to read, play games, and play any sport anyone wants to play (especially disc golf).
ELDERS
Aaron Alcorn
Aaron moved to Milwaukee in 2003 and married the love of his life, Tami in 2006. They have been blessed with three biological children, and have had multiple foster kids living with them throughout the years. Aaron and Tami started attending the church in 2014 and have had the privilege to serve in multiple areas. The entire family enjoys hospitality, leading a small group, and being disciples of Christ by sharing God's love with others.
Don Spielman
Don has had the privilege of serving as an elder for nearly 20 years. He has been married to his wife, Sharon, for over 40 years, and they have four grown children and 17 grandchildren. One of his greatest joys is seeing people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, become grounded in their faith, and serve at CrossPoint.
Matt Helland
Matt and his wife Callie were married in 2012, and have taught high school Sunday School together at CrossPoint since 2013. They have two sons, Logan and Blake, and a daughter, Eliza. Matt's passion is seeing sinners redeemed by grace submitting their lives to Christ and being transformed through discipleship and study of the Word of God.
Dave Gustafson
Dave has been married to his wife Melissa since 2004, and they have five children to make for an active household. They both have a history serving in youth ministry. Currently they lead a small group, and Melissa oversees Women’s Ministry. Dave finds joy in seeing people far from God be reconciled to him and change from a self-focus to a Christ-focus through the power of the Gospel.
Eric Schroeder
Eric and Sarah Schroeder have been teaching in CP Kids since 2014 and are the parents of three energetic boys (Nicholas, Joshua and Christopher). Eric is a deacon and desires to serve the needs of the church body. Along with teaching in CP Kids, Sarah has also directed Cubbies for the AWANA program, taught in CP Tots, and led women’s Bible studies. Both Eric and Sarah are teachers by training. Eric is currently the Educational Support Services Director at Heritage Christian Schools; he previously taught 6th grade there. Sarah has taught 2nd and 3rd grade, preschool and Title 1 Reading. Beyond teaching academic subjects, Eric and Sarah are passionate about teaching children the Bible. They desire to be used by God to help parents disciple their kids and provide a Biblical foundation that kids can build off of throughout their lives. We realize that we are working with the next generation of the church and desire that they graduate from CP Kids knowing: 1. The biblical story of redemption that flows from Genesis through Revelation and centers on the person of Jesus Christ and 2. That God has a role for them in his redemptive plan as it continues through His church.
Phil Bowen
Phil and his wife Patti have been a faithful part of CrossPoint Church for over two decades. Phil has served in a variety of ways over the years and strives to always seek out what the Lord wants for him and our church.
DEACONS
Al Bautch
Al has lived in the Milwaukee area his whole life. He married Lori in 1985 and they have 2 grown children and 3 grand children. Lori and Al have been attending CrossPoint since 2022 and serve in several areas. Al is the head of our building maintenance as well as the home maintenance and repair ministry. Lori heads up the decorating ministry. We both look forward to seeing you at CrossPoint.
Tim Graff
Tim has lived in southeast Wisconsin his whole life. He married Jen in 2015 and they have 3 children together. Tim and Jen have been attending CrossPoint since 2015 and serve in many areas. Tim is the head of our production team, so please be sure to like and subscribe on YouTube. The whole family hopes you will join us in sharing the love of Jesus with everyone.
Jeff Dawson
Jeff and his wife Laura have been members of CrossPoint since 2018. Always on the lookout for a new adventure, Jeff enjoys skydiving, BASE jumping, wing walking, and fire stunts. Jeff is eager to serve CrossPoint and the CrossPoint family as the Lord has equipped him.

Ministry Assistant
Jen and her family have been attending CrossPoint for almost 10 years. She has been involved in a myriad of ministries, including the CP Kids Check-in Desk, the Local Missions Leadership Team, helping to plan CP events, and more.
